This is the calendar of events for the Western Reserve Region of the Cadillac LaSalle Club for 2008. Some details are sketchy at this point, but further information will be added as it becomes available.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2008: PARTY AT THE LAKE TAVERN, MOSQUITO LAKE
This is a new event for our Club, which we're all looking forward to. This event will be held on the East Bank of Mosquito Lake in historic Mecca, Ohio. Food and drink will be available at the tavern at reasonable prices, or you can bring your own.
We'll meet at City View Center, I-480 and Transportation Boulevard, at 10:30 -- or you can meet us there. Take I-480/US 422 East to Parkman; left on SR88; North on SR88, then East on 88 across the lake to the traffic circle; right at the first turn (SR46) then South approx. 1/4 mile to the Tavern on the right side.

The 9th Annual Clambake & Car Show will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be held at the home of Rick and Patti Jablonski, 38823 Margaret Walsh Court, Willoughby (Phone: 440-942-3366). The meal includes: clam chowder, 1 dozen clams, 1/2 chicken, corn on the cob, sweet and redskin potatoes, rolls and butter. Bring your classic car and a dessert; beer and pop will be provided. Friends and family are welcome!

OCTOBER 11, 2008: 8 BALL TOURNAMENT
This fun-filled event will kick off at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Al and Linda Wedler, 15516 Lakeshore Drive, Burton (Phone: 440-834-0244). Trust us, ability to shoot pool is not necessary -- just ask some of our past winners! It's a great chance to get together, with lots of good food, and a laugh or two!

NOVEMBER 8, 2008: ANNUAL PLANNING MEETING
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held in the lap of luxury in the penthouse of One Bratenahl Place. This is when our Officers and Board of Directors are elected, and when we plan our events for the upcoming year. This is your Club and all members are urged to attend and share your thoughts and/or comments.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Larry and Carole Murray (6806 Virginia Avenue, Parma; phone: 440-845-8554), this event gives us a chance to all get together at the beginning of the holiday season for Carole's lasagna and those delicious baked goods from the ladies of the WRR.

We will plan on meeting at the Home Town Buffet at 1930 Snow Road, Parma (216-661-8830) at 11:00 a.m. for brunch, after which we will go to the IX Center to see the latest at the Cleveland Auto Show.
