TUESDAY, APRIL 29, 2008 (6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.): LEGACY OF CADILLAC SPONSOR AND MEMBER APPRECIATION RECEPTION
The Cadillac-LaSalle Club would be honored to have your presence at our 2008 Legacy of Cadillac Celebration.
This sponsor and member appreciation reception will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the unique home of Event Chairman, Mr. Christopher G. Axelrod, One Bratenahl Place, Suite 104, Bratenahl, Ohio 44108-1152.
One Bratenahl Place is located at the north end of Eddy Road at Lakeshore, exit #178 off I-90/Route 2, just east of downtown Cleveland.

This is a new event for our Club, so why not come out and join us for the CLC Tour and Poker Run? Pay the $10 registration fee, get your first card and instructions and you're off for a scenic drive, getting your next 3 cards on the way.
We will meet behind Jimmy Daddona's Restaurant at Solon Commons at 1:30 p.m. Restaurant (modest prices) location will be given at 3rd card pick-up. The 5th and final card of your poker hand will be passed out and all the registration money will be awarded to the winning hands. Hoyle rules.
Registration is per car, not per persons. Please be prepared to pay cash.
To sign up you MUST call Bob or Juli at 440-439-3433 by May 10th. Limit is 30 cars!

The deckfast (breakfast on the deck -- get it?) will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the home of Al and Linda Wedler, 15516 Lakeshore Drive, Burton (Phone: 440-834-0244). Not only is a huge breakfast served, if we're lucky, a little friendly wagering on the Belmont race may take place. And then it's time to work off all those calories by finishing off with a rousing game of putt-putt.
Check out the gorgeous view you can enjoy while eating a hearty breakfast!

The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the home of our gracious host, Chris Axelrod, One Bratenahl Place, No. 104, Bratenahl (Phone: 216-451-2161). This will be a planning meeting in anticipation of our show at Legacy Village in August. All are welcome to attend!

JUNE 22, 2008: SECOND ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE AT STEVEN GREENBERG'S CADILLAC GARAGE, BROOKVILLE, PA
We've received an invitation to attend the Second Annual Open House at Steven Greenberg's Cadillac Garage, which is presented by the Brookville Laurel Festival.
Date: June 22, 2008
Time: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Place: South White Street Complex, Route 36 South next to Curves, Brookville, PA
Anyone wishing to display their car must arrive by 3:30 to insure a parking place. For further information contact Steven Greenberg at DGreenb729@aol.com or 814-849-8716.
There will also be a car show downtown Brookville June 22, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Main Street. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.

From Pittsburgh and points south. Take I 80 to exit 78. Turn right at exit. Go to traffic light. Turn left at light. Go down hill to next light and turn right (Route 36 South). Go approximately one mile and the garage is on the left. From Route 28 from Pittsburg: take 28 North to Brookville. Turn right at light (322). Go down hill and right at next light to garage. From Interstate 80 from East: take Exit 78. Go traffic light and turn left. Brookville car show is straight ahead on Main Street. Greenberg's car show: turn right at second light.

JUNE 28, 2008: SPREAD EAGLE TAVERN DRIVING TOUR
Larry and I attended this event a couple of years ago and had an absolutely wonderful time! We saw some gorgeous cars, enjoyed a scenic driving tour and had a delicious meal at the Spread Eagle Tavern. A flyer with details can be found on the next two pages of the calendar.

This event will be held at the Northfield Village Retirement Community (10267 Northfield Road, Northfield, Ohio) from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and will be followed by a picnic at 4:00 p.m. at the Thomas G. Young Park in Walton Hills. The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies and soft drinks to those that participate. Please bring your own table settings and lawn chairs. Call Juli Diederich (440-439-3433) or Kathy Ciganek (daytime work number: 330-468-1800, ext. 653) by JULY 8 to R.S.V.P.

This event will begin at 12:00 noon at the The Fraternal Order of Eagles, 37299 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. For information call Larry & Carole Murray at 440-845-8554. As we did this past year, steak or chicken will be available and if you can talk Larry into it, he'll cook it for you. Otherwise, it's cook your own -- so there are no complaints. This is a beautiful setting, with a pavilion, lawn games and plenty of good food. All makes and models of automobiles are welcome to be displayed.
